Social campaign

Social Campaign „You Love, You Care, You protect – Examine your child“ was adressed to parents and care takers of children to 16-year-old. The main emphasis was put on necessity of systematic medical check-ups for children.
It lasted for June 2008, and was done in 7 main Polish cities.

The object of ORIMARI Foundation’s Campaign was education in the area of prevention child’s sickness.
Parents, most of doctors, and media put pressure on taking care for children until 3-year-old. Actually it is important that the regular checkups should be made at least once a year also among children who are in the preschool and school.

Not only body measurement and general health checkup are important. Crucial are also medical examination and diagonostic tests done at least once a year, consulted with a doctor. It is usually enough to detect abnormalities and serious sickness.

Routine analitic tests – morphology, urine test which monitor basic organism’s function is a starting point to pediatric consultation. After this, if needed, other diagnostic tests can be recommended.

Social Campaign for prevention of child’s sickness is a first step in changing parent’s attitudes and care takers in the area of children’s health.
Seasonal check-ups are crucial and it depends on parents to do them on time.
