Tastes of Good - Charity Dinner 2011

The exceptional Charity Dinner originated by ORIMARI Foundation and the chain of Starwood Hotels & Resorts was organized for the third time in Warsaw Sheraton. Culinary gems prepared by the chefs of Sheraton hotels in Warsaw, Krakow, Poznan and Sopot, Westin and Le Meridien Bristol were auctioned during the event. Funds raised during the event will be donated for the purchase of medical equipment for an intensive neonatal care for the Provincial Specialist Children’s Hospital in Olsztyn.

Tastes of Good - Charity Dinner 2010

How does good taste?! The participants of the 2nd Charity Dinner Tastes of Good organised by the ORIMARI Foundation and the chain of Starwood Hotels & Resorts on 28 November 2010 in the Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw, had a chance to find out about it. The culminating point of the event was the auction of six culinary gems prepared by the chefs of five-star hotels. The income from the event amounting to 439 thousand zlotys will be destined for the Paediatric Oncology, Haematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation Hospital in Wrocław. The event was hosted in a unique way by Dorota Wellman and Piotr Najsztub and honoured with the energetic performance of the Me Myself And I group.

Help to Foster Families

During this holidays, thank to generosity of our sponsors, over 20 children with different degree of disability, who are grown in Foster Families, could take part in rehabilitation and rest holiday leaves in the Panorama Morska Sanatorium in Jarosławiec.

Supporting Flood Victims

On June 1st two vans with donations to families, who suffered from this year's flood, set off to Tarnobrzeg. Many of these families lost their nest egg they had worked for years.

International Olympics of Winners - Moscow 2010

From June 13th to 16th, 2010 in Moscow a Russian Foundation, “The Grant a Life” (Podari Żizn) arranged a sport event for children with cancer, titled “International Olympics of Winners”. The ORIMARI Foundation invited ISKIERKA Foundation for cooperation in arranging the Polish team. Jolanta Czernicka-Siwecka, the President of the Foundation, was an author of the formula of the sport event for children with cancer. Therefore our country was represented in this special event by a group of 21 wards of the ISKIERKA Foundation.

Child Day with the ORIMARI Foundation and the stars of You Can Dance

On May 29th, 2010, on the occasion of a forthcoming Child Day, the ORIMARI Foundation and the Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw fulfilled the dreams of children fascinated by dance. They arranged a meeting with dancers of the “You Can Dance” TV show for dependants of the Warsaw children's homes and the children-friends of the Foundation. Kinga Rusin and Michał Piróg have supported the activities of the ORIMARI Foundation for many years , this time, in the role of leading persons, they recreated fully the atmosphere of the children's most beloved show – because the children were the most important guests of the afternoon.

Charity dinner

The first charity dinner of ORIMARI Foundation was held on 13 November 2009 at the Ballroom of Warsaw’s Sheraton Hotel. Invitations to this exclusive event were addressed as few as 50 carefully selected guests – most generous Poles. The dinner was paid, with all guests buying charity donation tickets. The event was made even more glamorous by the concert of Micha Urbaniak and Wojciech Karolak, featuring young singer Monika Bożym.

Strawberry afternoon

Warsaw, 1st of June, 2009 – In Children’s Day Sheraton Hotel in Warsaw in the cooperation with ORIMARI Foundation invited children from Children’s Home and friends of ORIMARI Foundation for “Strawberry Afternoon”.

Fashion show

On the 29th of March in the Warsaw Sheraton Hotel the extraordinary fashion show took place. It was unique because well known polish male actors, sportsmen, musicians, journalists became models. It was also special beccause were collecting money to buy wheel chairs with possibility to assume erect position and to buy other remedial equipment for small patients of children’s department from Centrum Rehabilitacji STOCER in Konstancin.

House in Zalesie Górne

One of the current achievements of ORIMARI Foundation is conveying the house in Zalesie Górne for the needs of children after oncologic diseases. The periods are organized by the Foundation "Fundacja Spełnionych Marzeń" which closely cooperates with ORIMARI Foundation. Our common initiative's purpose is to arouse in small patients the will to fight against diseases and return the faith in one's own strengths. In 2006 in Dom Spełnionych Marzeń (Home of Fulfilled Dreams) there were 39 periods participated by app. 320 children.

Onco-olympics

II International Sport Games "Onco-Olympics 2008", for children after neoplasm diseases, took place in the 6th of September 2008 in the area of Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw. The organizors of the Olympic Games were Foundation of Fullfielled Dreams and ORIMARI Foundation with the partnership of University of Physical Education. Apart from Olympics in Beijing and Football Championship there was also a place for those who won with the neoplasm diseases.

Children's homes

The foundation supports also children's homes in need, we have been cooperating with some of them for many years. Our friend centres include: Dom Małego Dziecka [Small Children's Home] no 16 in ul. Międzyparkowa and Dom Dziecka [Children's Home] no 10 and Centre for Family Support.
